Sheriff Buckle with Yellow 14K Gold Horse Head

This style of buckle is known as the "Sheriff's Buckle" because it is modeled after an old badge from the California days. Keyston and Irvine & Jachens also did versions. Unique raised dome and star - outstanding hand engraving. Solid sterling with a 14k gold horsehead. Made by James Stegman. There are lower quality replicas of this buckle on the market but this is the real thing. 3 1/2" x2 1/4" and for a 1 1/2" belt. Brand new, mint condition. Classic!
