Lane Frost was a popular young bull rider from Colorado and later Oklahoma who was killed in 1989 in a tragic event accident. He was World Champion Bull Rider in 1987. A year later Lane managed to ride the bull Red Rock who had thrown 309 consecutive riders until he met Lane. This is a brand new mint condition buckle with "Remembering Lane Frost" on the front. Silver and gold electroplate, two small semi precious ruby stones, Lane's brand and nice scroll work. This is a limited edition buckle made by Gist Silversmiths - one of 600. 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" and for a 1 1/2" belt. This is a special order item that takes about a month to ship.
